Bancharampur is located at 23.7778° N 90.8083° E . It has 43052 units of house hold and total area 217.38 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Bancharampur has a population of 258371. Males constitute are 50.93% of the population, and females 49.07%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 120882.
