[edit] What happened new data?

User 213.94.249.78 posed the following question on the article page, which I moved to here:

I had new data, with links to great graphics in here. Where did the data go? Phil Rogers.

Phil, the information you posted to this article on Ballymote, while very interesting, was not appropriate to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a forum for advertising or tourism. There are plenty of other sites for which your information would be more appropriate. to quote from Wikipedia itself:

You (although you may not know it) have a talk page, where people who wish to send you messages within Wikipedia can do so, it is at User_Talk:213.94.249.78 If you look at this page, you will see that Tawkerbot4 left you a message explaining why your information was deleted by it (tawkerbot4 is not a person, but a computer program designed for the purpose of erasing or reverting what it sees as inappropriate information from articles in Wikipedia). By the way, you may wish to register on Wikipedia (see the link on the top right of this and every page), then you can have your own talk page also.
Please don't take any of this personally, it's not. Best wishes in Wikipedia. --The.Q | Talk 15:15, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
