There is something wrong or unclear:

  1. Baldwin is created first count of Flanders in 862
  2. he eloped with Judith in 863
  3. he is made count of Ghent after the recognition of the marriage by king Charles

I assume that count of Ghent and count of Flanders could be the same. But I don't understand when he is made count - before or after the marriage. --Nk 11:14, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
