Ballymoney and Moyle Times

The Ballymoney and Moyle Times is a regional newspaper covering the north-east area of Northern Ireland. It is part of the Morton Newspapers group which was recently taken over by Johnston Press.

It was established in 1990 by Lyle McMullan, formerly Editor of the Ballymena Times newspaper.

The paper incorporated Moyle in its title in the late 1990s after spreading its interest into Ballycastle and the surrounding area.

Mr McMullan is still Editor of the paper. The Sports Editor is Chris Sherrard.
