Ballyhoura Mountains

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ballyhoura Mountains covers south-east County Limerick and north-east County Cork in the Republic of Ireland.

The Cork side is largely afforested with commercial conifer but there are still extensive areas on the Limerick side that remain as open heathland and blanket bog. The mountains include Seefin Mountain (528 m) and Carron Mountain (c. 440 m).
