Balloon Saga Station

Balloon Saga Station (バルーンさが駅 Baruun saga eki?) is a train station beside the Kase river, Saga City, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is run by JR Kyushu and is on the Nagasaki Main Line. It is a temporary station which is only operational during the Saga International Balloon Fiesta (around the end of October/beginning of November).

There is only one platform, which one must ascend to or descend from. Limited express trains with eight cars or under stop here.

Built at the dry Kase riverbed, there are mainly fields surrounding the station and not many homes or businesses. During the Balloon Festival the area is full of tourists.
