Balac

Balac, in biblical context, is king of the Moabites.

He is a minor character who appears in the Book of Numbers in relation to the prophet Balaam, whom Balac consults concerning the arrival of the Israelites to his borders, becoming angry when Balaam recommends that he respect them.
