Is it just me or is Sydney's WSFM contractually obliged to play this track at least once an hour? Great as it is, you can have too much of a good thing. Personally I'm sick of it. It's 2006 (almost) for goodness' sake! Graham 12:16, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

I think its all down to contracts. Laws differ from country to country, but generally radio stations must pay a fee for every time they play a song publicly. Therefore many radio stations often endlessly repeat songs for which they have a cheap contract with the record label. Personally, I wish the radio stations near me would play this song once in a while rather than endlessly repeating their favorite songs! Canderra 18:41, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bob Holness

I am convinced that Bob Holness did in fact play saxophone on this track. Can anyone provide proof he didn't? Tom 09:54, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Can you explain why you're convinced that he did? Ben-w 14:19, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • He has said he has. Tom 20:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
  • He has said that, has he? When? Where? This BBC page confirms the source of the Bob Holness legend as Stuart Maconie, writing in the NME, and it confirms that Raphael Ravenscroft, an established professional saxophonist with an impressive array of performing and recording credits and the author of a number of books about playing the saxophone, was the performer. Are you still convinced? Ben-w 20:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
