The Bakus are the name of alien parasites in the world of Tokyo Black Cat Girl.

Bakus are parasitic aliens from another planet that are trying to invade Earth. They are vulnerable when separated, but are extremely dangerous if they join together in large numbers. Hime Azumi battles and destroys each of these Bakus before they have a chance to get together. The Bakus have a leader, who can speak human languages (English or Japanese, depending on what language version of the manga it is). He is considerably larger than the rest of the Bakus, and more powerful.

- The Bakus possibly are the inspiration for Tokyo Mew Mew's Chimera Animas. They both have the same basic concept, as they are monsters, there are quite a lot of them, and the heroine(s) have to fight them.
