Bajoran Resistance

In the fictional Star Trek universe, the Bajoran Resistance (or sometimes, Bajoran Underground) refers to the anti-Cardassian forces of the planet Bajor. The resistance consisted of an unknown number of small autonomous terrorist cells including the Shaakar Resistance Cell and the Kohn-Ma spliter cell.

The resistance used terror tactics against their Cardassian Overseers in an attempt to free their planet from occupation. The most heavily referred to resistance cell was the Shakarr cell, named after it's leader. A prominent member of this cell was Kira Nerys, who later became 1st officer aboard the Cardassian Station, Deep Space Nine.
