[edit] My online existence, a potted history

I first accessed an online service in 1993, subscribing to CompuServe, and using the service (amongst other things) to buy the album Changesbowie.

Soon after (October 1994), I commenced studying at Grey College, Durham, where I first accessed the internet at large. Initially it was using Gopher, but I soon graduated to the WWW, using Mosaic.

I own the domain dreamshake.net, and have had various different websites over the years built on that domain. I don't currently have a site (although there is something in the works), so I redirect the domain's web traffic to this page for the time being.

I also have a blog, and have started doing this several times over the last 4-5 years. I'm not the world's most diligent writer, so several have been abandoned/deleted over the years. My current offering is here.
