[edit] Significance?
Is this person significant enough to warrant an entry? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.3.142.198 (talk • contribs) .
- I think so, though it is a 'conglomerate' sort of notability. The normal procedure for relatives is to merge their info into the article on their 'more notable' kin... but in this case that could be Christopher Tolkien because she is his wife, J. R. R. Tolkien because she was his secretary and typed many of his papers on Middle-earth, or Simon Tolkien because she was the eponymous 'inspiration / target' for his novel, The Stepmother? She is also on the board of the Tolkien Estate and the editor of The Father Christmas Letters. Making at least five notable articles which Baillie Tolkien is highly relevant to. Seems easiest to consolidate info on her here rather than splitting it out to the different pages. --CBD 10:56, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maiden name?
The Tolkien family tree shows her maiden name as Klass, but this tree [1] on the UK Tolkien site has it as Knapheis. How to resolve? ChrisEich 19:34, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
