Bairbre Dowling

Bairbre Dowling is an Irish-born actress.

She was christened Barbara Patricia Dowling in 1953, who was formerly married to actor Colm Meaney, and is the daughter of Irish-American actor Vincent Dowling, and the late Irish actress, Brenda Doyle, who died in a car crash in 1981.

Despite her acting pedigree, she has appeared in relatively few TV shows and movies, the most recent performance being as a nun in the U.S. TV show Crossing Jordan in 2003. Along with Meaney, she was in the Irish film War of the Buttons, and also guest starred on the American hit show ER.
