Baillif is a village and commune located in the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. Situated in the south of proper Guadeloupe it covers an area of 2.430 acres (10 km²). At the last census its population was calculated at 6,315 inhabitants.
The commune is named after an early inhabitant, Robert Baillif. Baillif traded in the area from 1650 to about 1700.
