[edit] Please explain
Hindi "Bhasha" = Tamil "Bhashay" = Malay "Bahasa" ... OK.
But what does it mean to say "this indicates the commonality of the Indo-chine group of languages"??? What group of languages is that? I recommend removing the quoted phrase entirely. yoyo 06:53, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
this page needs to make sense or made easier to understand cause when i read it all i read was someting bout bahasa is bla bla bla bla bla beeka.
[edit] Mention of Urdu
I have added the Urdu language in the section "Other languages". Even though the formal and preferred word for language in Urdu is
zabaan (زبان), bhasha (بهاس) is sometimes used colloquially among Urdu speakers. For this reason, I have placed the article in the "Category:Urdu words" and have added the Urdu script for bhasha (plus, different scripts are benificial when mentioned at the bottom of the article). Thanks for your understanding! AnupamTalk 03:32, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
