  • Found [1] Original caption "Apartheid signage, 1953 (Bailey's African History Archives)" Copyright in South africa is life+50. It looks unlikely that this is PD. Fair use? Possible, but I think unlikely. The image is principally acting as decoration because the fact "Non-whites were threatened with death" can be made without the image.
