Bagrami District

The Bagrami District is located in the central part of Kabul Province,Afghanistan-30 minutes drive East from Kabul.It borders with Kabul District to the West,Dih Sabz District to the North,Surobi District to the East and Khaki Jabbar,Musayi and Chahar Asyab districts to the South .The district center is the town of Bagrami.The population is 49 200(2006).The Pashtuns are majority,but there live Tajiks also.
The district is one of the most fast-developing districts in Afghanistan.Bagrami Industrial Park is one of the major projects in the rebuilding process.
Bagrami district is a green area with abundant agricultural activities.Many people work in Kabul.the Health care and the education are relatively good.
