Bagnara

Bagnara is a village of 11,229, located near the west coast of Calabria, in the province of Reggio Calabria, Italy.
Bagnara is known for its torrone, the typical delicacy of the village, and also for its swordfish. The Bagnara inhabitants have lived for centuries of fishing and agriculture. It was very famous for its fields for the sericulture. Then, all the terrazzamenti (it means to make a sort of stairs on the flank of the mountains to allow cultivations), was converted in fields for grape cultivation.
Since few years the village was converted in a tourists attraction for many of these that come for summer holiday.
