Bagas degol

Bagas Degol are a Celtic Fusion band from Cornwall. Their first album, "Party like it's 1399", was released in 2004. Their music is a mix of traditional music with modern rhythms.
Their name in Cornish means “Feast Day Band” in recognition of the occasion for which they originally came together – to accompany the famous Tom Bawcocks Eve lantern procession in Mousehole.
The band has a broad, forceful and energetic set, spanning the 12th to 20th centuries, with music sourced in the main from their native Cornwall. The Western Morning News referred to the band as "a trio spearheading a vibrant musical movement to fuse the traditions of Cornish culture with modern rhythms".

The band have influenced the younger generation of Cornish traditional/contermporary bands such as The Red Army (band), Pentorr and Black Friday. They have also influenced well known Cornish names such as Dalla and Crowd Control.
