[edit] License tagging for Image:P1010464-1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:P1010464-1.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:06, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi Joby. Nice to hear about your whereabouts. Your images are better added to commons.wikimedia.org than on wikipedia. That way they can be used across languages. The blue banded bee is probably not a stingless bee (Meliponines), I hope to have a confirmation from Doug Yanega and then it should move to the right place. I used to think it was a Megachilidae but going by the description on that page I have second thoughts. Shyamal 03:54, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

It is identified as in the genus Amegilla, in the tribe Anthophorini. See user_talk:Dyanega. Thanks Shyamal 02:56, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks to both of you. Nice to hear from you Shyamal. I had not seen this message for long time.

[edit] Electroantennography

Hi!, I removed the speedy deletion tag, and wikified the article a bit. It would be helpful if you could explain what Electroantennography is. By the way, are you connected with IISc, Bangalore in any way? utcursch | talk 13:16, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I have added more details. Probably not a stub now :).

Well, I don't know you... Just saw the link on your user page, so asked about IISc. I work in Bangalore. utcursch | talk 07:20, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

I was in IISc till 2005. Nice to know you.
