[edit] Relation to "Glass Onion"?

Badge seems to sound a lot like The Beatles' Glass Onion from The White Album, both in music and in lyrics. Is there any proof to this?

I don't think so. Although the guitar riffs bear Harrison's signature style, the drumbeat is quite different from that of Glass Onion.

[edit] Other Bridge Songs

Could there be a connection with Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Waters?

No. (Dsims209 12:38, 6 May 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Better than Here Comes the Sun?

As Harrison co-wrote this and then based Here Comes the Sun from it, many fans prefer Here Comes the Sun, but for me Badge is better. (Dsims209 12:39, 6 May 2006 (UTC))

[edit] "Where is my badge?"

About 20 years ago, I was listening to a classic rock station, and they said that Badge is a reference to Eric Clapton's not getting an OBE while other rock stars had. There is even a live version of Badge (which I have heard) in which Clapton sings "Where is my badge? Where is my badge?" as the song ends.

Has anyone else heard the "urban legend" about the song's meaning? Has anyone else heard this live version of Badge? Poldy Bloom 22:18, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
