Badarganj is located at 24.6667° N 89.0417° E . It has 44029 units of house hold and total area 301.29 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Badarganj has a population of 213431. Males constitute are 51.28% of the population, and females 48.72%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 109320.
