[edit] Synopsis

Brandy is excited about a date she has with a monkey she is dating, in which she will go to his parents house, and she plans to bring her favorite crimson red scarf because she feels that it looks very good on her. However, when Mr. Whiskers comes into the house using Brandy’s toothbrush, Brandy demands that Mr. Whiskers not touch any of her things ever again, in which she then leaves with Margo and Lola Boa to go get some flowers for her date. Ed then arrives and informs Mr. Whiskers that some wild boars who are easily enticed by the color red have arrived in the vicinity of the jungle, in which he asks Mr. Whiskers if he wants to go play with the boars on the condition that he brings something that is red. Mr. Whiskers wanted to use a rash he had, though when Ed said that it needs to be something better, in which he suggests Brandy’s crimson red scarf, Mr. Whiskers agreed with his idea after some hesitation. Mr. Whiskers then is seen riding on a boar, though when he fails to duck a branch, he falls off the boar, in which the boar and Brandy’s crimson red scarf fall into a volcano, causing both to be destroyed. Mr. Whiskers then panics, though he formulates a plan to shed his own fur, create a new scarf and then dye it red in order to try to ensure Brandy doesn't know it’s gone. Ed uses some jungle lice to get the fur and then tells Mr. Whiskers to go home until he gets the scarf fixed, though when Mr. Whiskers tries and fails to hide the fact that he has little fur left to Brandy, he makes up the excuse that he is seventy seven years old, in which his fur fell off because of his age. Brandy buys his story and she gets somewhat depressed because she feels Mr. Whiskers isn't long for this world, all the while, Mr. Whiskers is trying to work behind her back to find out a method to get Brandy a new scarf. Lola Boa and Margo, after hearing about Mr. Whiskers’ age from Brandy, soon figure out that Mr. Whiskers is lying, though Lola Boa decides to help him out because she feels it is her responsibility to do so. Lola Boa uses a hair growing tonic to get Mr. Whiskers’ fur to grow back so that Ed can use the jungle lice to get the fur he needs to finish the scarf. Mr. Whiskers then returns to the house while Ed and Lola finish the scarf, though when Mr. Whiskers’ fur continues to grow at a rapid pace, he attempts to hide the truth from Brandy by sending her out to look for her old scarf. Though when Mr. Whiskers begins to panic once again due to the fact that his fur is growing too fast, he ends up jumping out of the tree house, causing Brandy to see him in which she then begins pursuit. Brandy ends up coming across Lola Boa and Ed, in which she sees the scarf, though when Lola Boa tries to devour it before Brandy gets a good look at it, Brandy manages to get a hold of it, which after her and Lola Boa pull on it, it rips into two parts. Mr. Whiskers then comes and tries to explain what happened, though Brandy already managed to figure out what was going on. Mr. Whiskers apologizes and he then thanks Brandy for taking care of him when he pretended to be old, and he offered to make up for his mistake, in which Brandy accepted his apology and offer because he did try to be responsible and make up for his actions. At Brandy’s date, she uses Mr. Whiskers as her scarf, in which manages to work quite well, despite the fact that Mr. Whiskers said some things, and the episode ends with Brandy telling Mr. Whiskers’ to not say anything.
