The Bad Breed was the professional wrestling tag team of "brothers", Axl Rotten and Ian Rotten. They achieved their greatest fame in the Philadelphia wrestling promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Axl & Ian Rotten first teamed up as the Bad Breed in the Global Wrestling Federation, they then went to ECW in October 1993. A year later at ECW November To Remember 1994, The Pitbulls defeated Axl & Ian Rotten in a losers must split match (the tag team that lost could not team up again in ECW). Since the brothers both blamed each other for the loss, they began a feud against one another. The first match against each other was at Double Tables on February 4,1995,in which Axl won, their second altercation was at Three Way Dance on April 8, 1995 in a Hair vs. Hair match and Axl won again. Their third match against each other was at Hostile City Showdown on April 15,1995 in a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat match which Axl won yet again. Their final match, which ended the feud was at Hardcore Heaven on July 1, 1995 in a Taipei Death Match in which Axl won. The Bad Breed also attempted a reunion in 1995 against The Pitbulls, but were stopped by Bill Alfonso. The Bad Breed reunited at Hardcore Homecoming on June 10, 2005, when they took on the reunion of The Gangstanators in an ECW fight (un-official match where the wrestlers just beat the crap out of everyone until there is one man or team standing).
