Music notation: Peter Williams's guess about how a few measures of the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor looked in its (conjectured) original violin version.

Prepared by Opus33 using Sibelius software. The passage is quoted from an article by Peter Williams published in the journal Early Music, vol. 9, p. 337 (1981). This is claimed as permissible scholarly quotation of a short passage.
