Back to the Beat was the first major E.P. release from Minneapolis based band Motion City Soundtrack. This release featured tracks that were later re-released. "Throw Down", "Back To The Beat", and "Capital H" were all re-released on a split E.P. done with Shatzi. "Capital H" was also re-released on Motion City Soundtrack's break-out album I Am the Movie.
