Ba Research International, previously known as Bioassay Laboratory, Inc., was founded in 1989 and specializes in the analysis of biological samples and statistical services.

In 1990 President & CEO Paul Likhari, in a partnership venture, acquired the lab with a vision to adhere to the utmost standard of quality, scientific expertise and on-time performance.

In 1998 the company moved into their current Houston, Texas location. Ba has offices in Austin, Texas and in 2002 purchased the bioanalytical operation from Novopharm in Toronto, Canada.

In 2005, the company was recapitalized by Summit Partners and management.

Then in October 2006, Ba Research came together with PRACS Institute and Gateway Medical Research to form Cetero Research. The name Cetero is derived from the Latin phrase de cetero, meaning for the future.

Aligning Ba Research and PRACS Institute’s bioanalytical labs, Cetero Research now has more than 600 validated assays and specializes in analyzing biological samples from Bioavailability, Bioequivalence and clinical trial studies. Their state-of-the-art techniques provide methods which allow for the processing of a large number of samples utilizing LC/MS/MS, HPLC and other analytical techniques.

Cetero's bioanalytical labs are currently located in Houston, Texas, Fargo, North Dakota and Toronto, Canada.
