B'nai Avraham Synagogue
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The B'nai Avraham Synagogue is an Orthodox synagogue situated at 117 Remsen Street, Brooklyn Heights, New York City.
The building was purchased by the congregation in November 1995, and has its own mikvah, with an interior design inspired by the 19th century character of the area. [1] The synagogue has helped to establish a strong Orthodox presence in the area. The congregation includes members born into Orthodox families, as well as those wanting to learn about their heritage, and converts.
The congregation sponsors a daily adult learning program with morning and evening classes, beginners' and children's services on Shabbos, preschool classes, and a Hebrew school program.
