B'Easter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
B'Easter is a secular holiday celebrated yearly on Easter day. Created by the Brooklyn Gay community in 2006, its celebration includes most of the traditional Easter festivities such as egg dying, gathering with friends, and eating a sumptuous meal. (Cf. Next Magazine, June 2006.)
Additional aspects of B'Easter can include dancing in wigs, dressing up like bunnies, piñata games, wearing pastel, and gift exchange.
