B1249 road
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The B1249 is a B road that connects the A64 via Foxholes, Langtoft, Driffield, Wansford, Church End, North Frodingham, Beeford, Upton to Skipsea. It is often used as a back route to Scarborough from the A166.
The road runs along the Driffield Canal (or Navigation) at Frodingham Wharf, over a historic wooden bridge across Frodingham Beck, formerly a swing bridge. In Driffield the road is known as the Scarborough Road.
