Børge Brende

Børge Brende (b. September 25, 1965) is a Norwegian politician (Conservatives, Høyre). He was an active member of the Conservatives' youth party from an early age, and since 1997 he has been elected member of parliament representing Sør-Trøndelag county. From 2001 to 2004 he was Minister of the Environment, and then Minister of Trade and Industry until 2005. Brende is married and has two children.
