Bønestoppen is located in Bergen, Norway. It's part of Fyllingsdalen.

The word Bønes comes from the word Bæjarnes, which means bosted (eng. home), so Bønestoppen means bostedstoppen or toppen av bostedet, the top of the home. This top, was separated from Bønes in 1890 and is today part of Fyllingsdalen. Bønes farm history as a unit of Bønes and Bønestoppen goes back to the early 1500's, but Bønestoppen was never really used for anything except amazing views to both Fyllingsdalen and Fjøsanger.

Modern houses were raised in the early 1990s', when the road connecting Bønes and Fyllingsdalen was completed.
