[edit] Horace Mann School (New York City)

  • Please be civil and pay attention to the substance of the arguments made on the talk page. --Dystopos 04:19, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

== (copied from Talk:Horace Mann School (New York City)): "Since you seem to spend so much time editing the Horace Mann article, perhaps you might like to learn something about it. Horace Mann is a place where students all across the political, social, economic, and racial spectrums come to learn at one of the finest secondary schools in the country. Conservatives and liberals are expected to be able to discuss contentious issues with each other without being rude or uncivil. I hope the Horace Mann tradition of polite and respectful debate can come to its Wikipedia article."

  • Perhaps you would also like to learn something about me. Since I don't know much about Horace Mann in particular, my participation in the article is from the perspective of upholding Wikipedia's policies and from having an interest in defending articles about High Schools from degrading to the point where the arguments of the deletionists will win out. I would welcome any blooming of polite and respectful debate on the Wikipedia article. Perhaps you will see me rise to the level of discourse. The one thing I will insist upon is respect for Wikipedia's policies on content, which have been routinely and irresponsibly ignored by more than one editor. I can weather personal attacks, but the encyclopedia deserves an active defense. --Dystopos 01:34, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who are you?

A tenth grader at Horace Mann, but your name might help a little. Thanks --Fbv65edel 17:41, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Shoot me an email at my Horace Mann address. You're not helpful. -Fbv65edel 01:54, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
