Azita Ghanizada is an actress and former lifestyle television host. She was born in Afghanistan and raised in the suburbs of Washington D.C.. She is the middle child of two sisters.

She is known for co-hosting the first season of the Style Network's A Modern Girl's Guide To Life (2003). She had the lead role of Chiara in the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004), a performance for which she received a film festival Best Actress nomination. Her television guest-starring roles include, Veronica Mars, NUMB3RS, and Bones. She most recently had a supporting part in the independent comedy, X's and O's (2007).
