Aylesbury Rural District
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aylesbury was a rural district in Buckinghamshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was named after but did not include Aylesbury. It was created by the Local Government Act 1894 based on Aylesbury rural sanitary district. The district was enlarged in 1934 when it took in most of the disbanded Long Crendon Rural District. It was merged under the Local Government Act 1972 to form part of Aylesbury Vale.
