[edit] Law of Attraction (New Age)
There is currently a discussion about Law of Attraction on AfD, to which you are welcome to contribute. You started this article. Tyrenius 12:47, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your thanks! I think you did a good job in spotting this and putting the initial info up, and it is indeed in widespread use, thus meriting an article. Other editors are justifiably concerned because a lot of stuff gets put up that doesn't meet the criteria for inclusion - sometimes schoolkids making up some theory for a joke, for example. If you study other articles, you will get the hang of the right tone of voice for NPOV etc and making sure you cite references in the right place. This then allows other editors to make a better judgement of the worth of the subject. One of the important things is not to write as if something's true (like the Law of Attraction) or that you think it's true, but to make it clear you are saying that such and such a person is saying it is true: you are just reporting on that. I hope that makes sense. If you want any feedback on articles or the best way to approach something, let me know. And keep up the good work. PS I would suggest removing your comment in red on the AfD page. It rarely works to doubt people's motives and make personal comments: best to stick to the facts. Tyrenius 13:46, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
