Avraham Shochat

Avraham Shochat (also Shohat; born 1936 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli politician. He was one of the founders of the city Arad and its mayor from 1967 to 1989. In 1988 he became a Knesset member and served as Minister of Finance from 1992 to 1996 and again from 1999 to 2001.
