Aviel

Aviel, a small and pastoral moshav (communal agriculture settlement) in Regional council (Israel) of Alona was established by the Herut political party in Israel. It is situated 6 km. north-east of Binyamina-Giv'at Ada. It was founded in 1949 and its jurisdiction is 3000 dunams.

It derives its name from Israel Epshtein (Aviel), the Irgun Tsvai Leumi messenger to Rome , that was killed in Italy in 28.12.1946.
