[edit] Deprisa

In 1996, Deprisa was created to take a step forward in the evolution of the Avianca Postal Service, for specialized, logistics handling of documents, packages and cargo, with the support of the operation and AviancaSAM and their alliances’ extended frequencies.

Deprisa’s infrastructure allows it to offer its users a timely efficient service in more than 300 cities and towns in Colombia, reaching more than 213 countries in the world thanks to international alliances with the best transportation companies in the United States, Europe and Asia.

It also includes more than 400 sales points with the easiest access and comfort needed to offer a fast and timely service.

In Colombian Spanish, the words that made up the airline's former name, "Deprisa", mean "in a hurry", hence implying that the airline would move your cargo speedily.
