Avery Ardovino

Avery Ardovino (b. 13 February 1992) is a ski jumper from Park City, Utah, United States. She who has won over 100 medals and awards in the sport. She has won competitions on hills ranging from the size of 10 meters to 90 meters; she also won an award for jumping every hill from 20 meters to 120 meters in a single competition. She has competed internationally in the women's continental cup and, because of her age, is one of the American hopefuls for the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010.

Avery unofficially became a member of the US womens ski jumping team in the 2006-2007 season. She entered the competitive season as the "wild card" of the team but she earned her place on the team by ranking, in multiple competitions, as the 3rd, 2nd, or even 1st placed American. She continues to prove herself and she will be a strong competitor in the overall rankings as they fall in during the 2007 summer season.
