[edit] Aveo: a Band
Aveo was a Seattle based band that played indie music. From 2000 until 2006, the band released two albums Bridge to The Northern Lights and Battery. The group also participated in tours featuring Death Cab for Cutie, The Dismemberment Plan and Atom and His Package.
Bridge to The Northern Lights was originally released in 2001 on Brown Records. After their tours with other bands on the label, the group was signed to Barsuk Records, then home to both Death Cab for Cutie and The Dismemberment Plan. Barsuk re-released Bridge to The Northern Lights soon after.
The Group then released Battery in March of 2004, yielding mainly positive reviews.
The group's tale after that is only known to close friends of the band, as Aveo has all but disappeared.
