Auxi-le-Château

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Auxi-le-Château is a small town and commune on the river Authie, in the Pas-de-Calais département in northern France.

It is so named because it was a border fort, but there is now no sign of a castle, apart from some ruins at the top of the Chemin de la Belle Inutile. Market day is on Saturday.
