[edit] To Primrose guy, regarding the [citation needed] templates in the "Reaction" section
All the facts tagged with {{fact}} in the last paragraph are sourced from either the European Car of the Year article or the articles on the models themselves. I believe in that case the citations are not needed. Is there an official policy on that? Bravada, talk - 03:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi Bravada. I just thought it would help sell that paragraph a bit better, since I couldn't tell exactly where the data was from. PrimroseGuy 03:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Good Article Review
I know nothing about this car (or just about any European car), so I'll ask some basic questions.
- Indented replies below by Bravada, talk - 04:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- How much did they cost?
- I try to battle the inclusion of such information, as it is pretty irrelevant and hard to present - you mean price of which model in which market and which model year? Would the info that the 65 C cost 1,080,000 lira in 1970 in Italy be interesting? By chance, I have price lists for 1970 for Italy and Germany, so that I can put this into perspective by comparing to other cars in those markets, but wouldn't saying that it was priced above Fiat 128 and comparably to the base Fiat 124s suffice?
- Any chance of a discussion of what the interior was like?
- Hmm, I have actually never seen the interior... Club Autobianchi site is down, and so unfortunately is the Wayback Machine... I can't recall a description of the interior in a WP car article of this kind...
- Radio available?
- No idea. Rarely do we include such info, unless it was significant in a way (like the FIRST radio of a given kind in an automobile).
- Interior trim levels?
- Also don't think it's that relevant. I might include that if I find anything on it, but tough luck as of now.
- Any notable drivers?
- Not that I know of any.
- Used in any movies? Featured on the cover of any magazines?
- IMCDb lists 5 minor appearances (we do not include such), perhaps featured on some contemporary (and more recently, classic) car mag covers, but we do not include such either.
- What colours did they come in?
- First I hear of this kind of info included in an encyclopedic article. I actually spent some time convincing people to get rid of lenghty paint code listings from articles.
- Where in Italy was it made?
- Desio, where the Autobianchi factory was.
- Are there any reactions to the car itself in the media of the day?
- Of course there were, but creating an NPOV report on that would be next to impossible. I try to avoid discussing that.
- If someone has one, is it possible to get a recording of what the engine or the horn sounds like? (just for fun)
- If you come accross one, do record it.

- GA awarded. First, in due time the questions in the review were answered, if anything should be added to the article it will be through an expansion of the present sections as it pretty much covers the basic necessary subjects about the car.
- I have one question too : Would information about the body (e.g. talking about the bumpers, lights, hood, steering wheel) be pertinent to the article? Lincher 16:02, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

- Thank you very much on behalf of all the editors involved in developing the article! As concerns your question, I am not sure whether I understand it... If you believe the article should "describe" the outside (or inside) appearance of the vehicle, I believe photo(s) do(es) the job a whole lot better (though there are small hints in the text as to what style did the designers follow). And if you mean anything peculiar about the elements you mentioned (e.g. a square steering wheel like in the case of the Allegro), it surely should be mentioned - I just cannot recall anything particular about the Primula that hasn't been mentioned in the article already. If you know or will find out more, it would be great if you could add it, but I guess this is obvious and wasn't the matter of your question. Regards, Bravada, talk - 20:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Good Article Review
I question if the article fulfills two of the Good Article criteria. 3. It's not very comprehensive compared to other good car articles. 6. It should be possible to find some free pictures to illustrate the article. --Boivie 15:52, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

- As there is no clear consensus on the status at the review, I'm keeping it listed. But suggest acting on suggestions to improve it.Sumoeagle179 11:11, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
