Talk:Auto magma object

I'm not going to be bold just yet, but I think the sentence about the computer algebra system Magma is in the wrong article. Isn't it simply named after magmas, not auto magma objects? --Michael Kinyon 23:40, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- And so, months later, I moved the sentence over to Magma (algebra) (and condensed it). Michael Kinyon 12:43, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
One more question: why is this article called "auto" magma object? It starts with a definition of magma object in a category, and then gives the medial magma example, but the prefix "auto" is never explained. Shouldn't this article just be called "Magma object"? --Michael Kinyon 00:02, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I see that magma object redirects here, but I still don't understand "auto". --Michael Kinyon 00:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
