The A8 highway in Poland is a short (about 28 km) planned motorway which, when completed, will form a motorway bypass of the city of Wrocław. Construction should start in early 2007, and the motorway is to be completed by 2010.

Earlier plans envisaged the A8 motorway to run the entire route between Wrocław and Łódź - and in a longer term connect it southwards with a connnection to Prague. A few years ago the motorway was truncated to its current length. On the rest of the route, a lower standard express road S8 will be built, but no firm plans for its construction exist at present.
