The Autonomous Systems Laboratory (in Portuguese Laboratório Sistemas Autónomos) it's a research unit of the Porto Superior Institute of Engineering, a school of the Porto Polytechnic Institute.

It's a Portuguese multidisciplinary laboratory oriented to participate in R&D projects, advanced education activities and technical consulting and services.
The group work in several areas, namely:
- Embedded Systems;
- Digital hardware design;
- Operating Systems Hardware Integration;
- Real-Time Operating Systems (VxWorks, QNX, Linux and RTX51).
