Wok Cup??? Can I have some verifiable sources for this comment please? I've been following AFL for 20 years and never heard it referred to as the Wok Cup. If it is relevant, then I think it should also be explained.... what does it mean or refer to? where did it come from? Anubis1975 05:19, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

I have also never heard of this, thus removed. I think it qualifies for removal just because it seems silly.. I and nobody else I know has ever heard it known as that. If there is a good reason, please discuss. - Boochan 07:26, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
It is a slang term and the Wizard Cup was often referred to the Wok Cup due to the look of the trophy. Rogerthat Talk 12:33, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

To avoid moving this every year the sponsor changes, perhaps a name like AFL pre-season competition, with redirects from the official names, would be better(?) Just a thought. Grant65 | Talk 14:00, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
