[edit] NPOV, recent fork

"Austnet has gone into damage control and will suspend any user or channel that mentions the new network in either conversation or in the topic." This is incorrect and shows a clear bias. - All good :P

[edit] GREAT!=

Great to see some of the 'higher' people on austnet actually care about the users that use the program, lets get behind these people on austIRC for they have done this split for us users.. they have been working tirelessly to get it going and still work to be done so lets all be patient and show some appretiation to these people. PeeSCe

Austnet are not suspending channels, a couple were suspended, but that is no longer the case. BF

[edit] AustNet Split section

Wikipedia is neither AustNet nor AustIRC's PR outlet, and I'm sure both networks would like to be judged on their own merits. If we can not have a basic section announcing the AustIRC fork without it degrading to slinging matches and trying to quantify "many" then it is in the best interests of everyone to not have it at all. 203.122.246.87 12:32, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Clearly some users do not understand collaboration, instead assuming because I am an "anonymous editor" (funnily enough I sacrifice more of my anonymity than most of the registered users posting here, due to the fact these registered users have created their accounts solely for the purpose of editing the AustNet and AustIRC articles) that my suggestions on the article should just be disregarded. ..

Being a current event, blanket statements and unverifiable claims can be seen as an attempt to shape the event itself, this is not what Wikipedia is about. Further Rjk.melbourne, again being a reference point and not a soapbox, the inclusion of a link to a (in fact your) personal blog, particularly where you have shown (in fact admitted) in your edits that your contributions to the articles are biased, shows you do not understand Wikipedia. I consider your contributions to this page completely biased, not properly researched, and not existing to better Wikipedia. ..

I am not going to bother rewriting the section for you. It is best removed and rewritten with fact when the event is no longer current, that is unless you can sort the fact from the FUD and stop writing as if you are a PR outlet before then? The AustIRC article should follow the same standards, however I consider that a lost cause in the world of Rjk's PR-Wikipedia. ..

You probably won't read this anyway. 203.122.246.87 00:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RJK Edits of Austnet Wiki

RJK of melbourne.

Your views and edits on the Austnet Wiki are biased and tainted and do not represent the facts. Whilst Wikipedia is supposed to be a community, your changes to the wiki and comments of vandalism when they are changed to the facts show us that there is only one version which is yours. Wikipedia is not the correct place for you to showcase a new network.

I have removed the links to your factually incorrect website, it is not relevant.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.161.90.95 (talk) 17:28, 25 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Added 2 additional servers
