Australians in the United Kingdom

Australian British are people who come from Australia or have Australian ancestry living in Great Britain. For UK Census purposes this does not include British people currently living in Australia, even though plenty of people who are Australian-born with British descent had spent time in the UK and then returned to Australia. But there are thousands of Australians in the UK with a strong connection to Australia, a solid sense of social justice and pride in their country.[1] There are believed to be around 300,000 Australians in the UK at any one time; the highest concentration of Australians in the UK is in London.
