The School bases itself on the Australian system and uses the Victorian state system in the Primary school and uses the Queensland state system in the high school.
[edit] History
AIS was established in 1996. The reason for its founding was in response for a more exclusive education system in Indonseia. Today AIS is the only International school in Indonesia which is capable of catering children with learning disabilities. When it first opened in 1996, AIS only had 13 students. For the first 18 months of its existence AIS grew by approximately 6 students a week. Today AIS is a school with approximately 650 students with three campuses.
[edit] Campuses
AIS has several campuses. Currently the school has 3 campuses. Two of these campuses are located in Jakarta, while the third is in Bali.
